| Mutinta Mbelenga's Testimony of Salvation |
![]() I became a Christian on the 9th of December, 1998. Prior to that I had heard the gospel on countless occasions, but I thought I was still too young to become a Christian. The day before I gave my life to Christ, someone had come to share the gospel with me. He asked me whether I was a Christian, and I said I was not. So he asked me where I would go if I died that very instant. And I knew I would go to hell. While he was still sharing I began thinking of my life after death. That night when I went to sleep I thought of repenting, but the thought of doing so when I grow older came to mind again. The following morning while listening to Radio Christian Voice, the presenter said something that struck me. She said “...there is no reason for you to go to hell when someone, out of love, died to save you.” I thought of what had been said by the man that shared the gospel just the day before. At that moment, I decided to ask for forgiveness and live for Christ. |
